Vinny Project -

The VINNY Project has successfully moved from theoretical research to the ground, with fieldwork now officially active at the Quinta do Pôpa experimental pilot site in Portugal. 

Taking place in the heart of the Douro region, the initial phase of these trials focuses on deploying innovative soil treatments, such as specialized agrotextiles and mulching techniques, specifically designed to study and manage vineyard pests.

The core of these field activities involves evaluating sustainable alternatives that enhance soil health and crop resilience. By testing these methods in an authentic vineyard environment, the Project is gathering vital data to refine eco-friendly solutions for the viticulture industry.
