The BBV Lab, from VINNY's partner Université de Tours, recently represented the Project at the 6th Cosm’innov Congress in Orléans, France, marking a vital step in VINNY’s journey from the laboratory to the industry.

At the heart of this participation was showcasing how scientific research can unlock new value from agricultural side streams. By participating in this specialized initiative dedicated to sustainable innovation, the presentation highlighted advanced extraction methods to scale up the recovery of valuable antioxidants from grape canes, the woody parts usually discarded after pruning.

The event provided a platform to present two scientific posters that delved into these innovative processes. By exploring a Design of Experiments (DoE) approach for compound extraction and the chemical diversity of disease-resistant hybrid grape varieties, the project demonstrated that these investigations evaluate potential capacities.

This focus on bioactivity and precision extraction perfectly aligns with VINNY’s mission to turn experimental research into transformative, eco-friendly solutions for the global industry.
